After a very delicious breakfast we walked to the train station in Milngavie. Having had a less than optimal experience with the bus the evening before, we wanted to try another means of transportation. However the price was considerably higher.

We arrived at Queen Street Station. St. George Square is just south to the station, so it was our first stop in the morning. Situated right at the East side of the square are the Council Chambers of Glasgow. We thought you could have a tour there. But, despite having a look into the hall, there was nothing offered for tourists.

Edinburgh to Glasgow

Journey to Glasgow

After our third night and a full breakfast in Cherry Tree Villa, we left the B&B. We had planned to go to Glasgow by train. We walked our way to the train station consequently. There is a tourist information at the train station where we had a second thought about our decision for the train. It turned out that busses are have as expensive as the train. Consequently we continued our way to the bus station. We just managed to buy two open return tickets, before the bus departed.
