Zingst

We just returned from our well-earned holiday in Zingst which is located on the island Darß in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Noth-Eastern Germany.

The hotel we stayed in was the Vier Jahreszeiten Zingst. It is a four star hotel with wellness area. As we booked a wellness arangement the gym, the pool and sauna was our primary activity. But, we also had some walks.

A Late Lion for Birthday

Me and my girlfriend had our birthdays back in October. We got tickets for Disney’s “Lion King” – or “König der Löwen” in German – as presents. We had to wait until last Tuesday as it was the date to use the tickets. The musical is performed at the Theater im Hafen.
We started with a decent dinner, nothing too extraordinary though. The performance itself was like you would expect from a Disney product. Easy to consume, but worthwhile. I liked the costumes especially. They where not only costumes, but puppets, too.

Vacation?

My vacation for the holiday season started on Friday. But who says that vacation means to do something less exhausting.

We started that Friday with breakfast followed by buying the goods needed for the Christmas party in the evening. Running those errands was not enough as an alibi for the party. So, we drove to Snowdome in Bispingen for the afternoon.

I must say: Skiing is fun and for my first time alpine skiing I did not make much of a fool of me. :-)
