Google Maps on my Blog

I added a feature to my blog. I can now add maps to the posts. This utilizes Google Maps and Google AJAX Search API.

Vacation?

My vacation for the holiday season started on Friday. But who says that vacation means to do something less exhausting.

We started that Friday with breakfast followed by buying the goods needed for the Christmas party in the evening. Running those errands was not enough as an alibi for the party. So, we drove to Snowdome in Bispingen for the afternoon.

I must say: Skiing is fun and for my first time alpine skiing I did not make much of a fool of me. :-)

EPGTool

I have a project at SourceForge. It is called EPGTool and contains a hobby project I am doing in my spare time. Its subject is the EPG (electronic program guide) of the VDR (video disk recorder) for Linux.

I’m Blogging on GullFOSS

I started blogging on GullFOSS.

I am working in the Writer team at StarOffice/OpenOffice.org with responsibility for the current filter for Word formats. We are also developing a new filter for these formats. This new filter is the subject for my corporate blog entries.
